5 Nail Care Tips for all seasons

Hey girls, Lauren here!

I am back with some well deserved nail care tips & tricks. As much as we love doing our nails in a million of colors, taking good care of them is a whole different business.

No matter if it's summer or winter, our nails can be brittle, weak and unhealthy. That's why we want to let you in on some tip on nail care.

Avoid harsh products

As women we are bound to use cleaning products, or harsh nail products that can do more harm than good.

It's best to use gloves when cleaning the house or the dishes. This way not only your hands are protected, but your nails too.

At the same time, we advise you to avoid highly damaging nail products, such as acrylics. They are known for ruining natural nails.

Apply cuticle oil everyday

Even if you use a hand cream, your cuticles and nail need special attention as well. A good solution for healthy nails is AVVA Cuticle oil. It contains only natural ingredients like Jojoba oil, Vitamin E, Vitamin B.

With the proper cuticle oil your nails and cuticles will improve visibly over time. Just give it a try!

Apply an extra layer of Top before soaking your nails

If you are planning to go swimming or just soaking in the tub, try to apply an extra layer of Top on your manicure.

This way you will make sure that all the humidity won't affect your nails, and your hard-worked manicure will stay intact. Make sure you always have enough AVVA Top.

Don't spend too much time in the sun

Spending time in the sun may be beneficial, but too much time under those UV rays can also do damage. Make sure you always use sunscreen and don't forget about protecting your manicure as well. The color of your nails can get discolored or yellow.

Luckily our AVVA Top is non-yellowing so your nails will be well protected against all that. Our dip powder colors will remain as beautiful as ever!

Keep your nails short

Even if we all dream to have natural long nails, keeping our nails shorter can prevent broken nails and chipping. Besides cutting your nails more often can help give them more strength.

We also recommend to file your nails in one direction only, as filing back and forth can cause the nails to split or peel.

Keep all these tips in mind and you will forever have beautiful nails!
